“I believe that music has the power to transform lives and enrich the soul. As a
percussion and drum teacher, my goal is to inspire and guide students on their
musical journey. I strive to instill a lifelong love for music in each student, whether
they pursue a career in music or simply enjoy playing as a hobby. I am dedicated to
helping my students discover their full potential, build confidence, and develop a
deep appreciation for the art of percussion. With over five years of experience
teaching percussion and drums, I have worked with students of all ages and skill
levels. From beginners discovering their passion for drumming to advanced
students honing their techniques, I adapt my teaching to suit each individual's
needs and goals. My teaching style revolves around fostering a strong foundation
in rhythm, technique, and musicality. I incorporate a variety of teaching methods,
including hands-on practice, sight-reading exercises, aural listening practice and
improvisation. Through a balanced approach, I aim to create a supportive and
creative environment where students can explore their rhythmical abilities, develop
technical skills, and express themselves through music.” - Katie Randall
